Michele Mason has taught first-year composition, argumentation, debate, history of African-American rhetoric, rhetorical criticism and speechwriting in the English and Communication departments at University of Maryland, University of North Carolina and Catholic University of America. She has presented research at national and international conferences on the history of rhetoric, argumentation theory, digital humanities and nineteenth and early-twentieth century African-American rhetoric.
